- Receive and import customer mail.dat files from various clients for utilization in mail production.
- Keeping track of inbound mail throughout presort production process.
- Collaborate with Presort Operations team and Data Entry clerks to efficiently perform data extraction and data transfer processes.
- Assist in applying postal presort logic using approved software (e.g., BCC).
- Generate required postal documentation including tray/sack tags, postage statements, and qualification reports.
- Maintain accurate records of processed jobs, client data, and mailing outcomes.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely handoff of presorted data and materials.
- Mail uploads and retrieving reports from BCG
- Troubleshoot basic data or formatting issues with guidance from senior team members.
- Creating and managing accounts on NetSort and Business Manager software with guidance from Regional Data Manager or other senior members of the team.
- This will also include but not limited to keeping track of customer PAF, creating custom reports through Business Manager and both software as a tool for research.
- Stay updated on USPS mailing guidelines relevant to data operations.
- Other duties as assigned.

May be exposed to dust.
Extended work shifts may be required due to business needs and the flexibility to work overtime and weekends are required.

The Mail Operations Data Specialist supports the processing of customer mailing data before, during and after presorting and mail production. This mid-level role focuses on NetSort and related software management, data importing, digital data comingling, and producing the necessary documentation for presort operations. The Mail Operations Data Specialist under the direction of the Regional Data Manager will collaborate with multiple team members at different sites as assigned to support the processing of pre-sort mail production.
