Twelve days provided per calendar year, thirteen in general election year

Some positions will receive additional paid annual leave in lieu of holidays and personal leave.

The Department of Inspections and Permits strives to provide the citizens of Anne Arundel County with the highest inspection standards that are consistent with adopted codes and regulations. This is accomplished through the consistent and equitable application of regulations in the built and natural environment. It is done through plans review, inspections, enforcement, and the issuance of permits and licenses.
The Permit Center takes in all building, grading, and trade permits.
