Responsibilities
On the team at the Office of the State's Attorney for Baltimore City, you'll serve as a front-facing administrative support professional who welcomes and assists visitors, answers phone calls with case and trial information, and processes incoming and outgoing mail. You will organize and maintain trial files, gather evidence and records, transcribe statements and recordings, and prepare subpoena requests for a variety of records. You will also perform clerical tasks such as filing court pleadings, archiving case files, handling correspondence, motions, and indictments, and maintaining internal databases.

The position is based on-site at 120 East Baltimore Street in Baltimore, Maryland.

Welcome and assist visitors.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide information regarding scheduled trial dates and attorneys handling cases.
Assist attorneys with organizing and maintaining trial files; gathering evidence/ records and transcribe statements, videos, or jail calls.
Prepare subpoena requests for various documents to include bank records, medical records, phone records, and other business records.
Perform clerical work including but not limited to filing court pleadings, archiving closed case files, accepting, receiving and drafting correspondence, motions and indictments.
Maintain internal databases.
Process incoming mail and deliver outgoing mail.
