Responsibilities

On the commercialization team at Colorado School of Mines, you’ll manage the centralized Idea Bank and full portfolio of early-stage ideas, ensuring high-quality intake, visibility, and progression from concept through startup formation or other outcomes. You will coordinate and support faculty Technology Scouts, organize and facilitate commercial review sessions with investors and experts, and help synthesize feedback to guide prioritization, resource allocation, and ecosystem engagement. You’ll also support startup formation and early company needs, administer and improve systems and workflows for idea and network management, and monitor IP timelines to inform data-driven patenting and commercialization decisions for leadership.
