Requirements
  • Must have advanced at least one key research project focusing on mechanistic research, as evidenced by a first-author paper published or accepted in a leading peer-reviewed journal.

  • Motivated by identifying novel therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Proven track record of success in wet-laboratory experimentation.
  • Working knowledge of large-scale data analysis (e.g., RNA-seq, proteomics).
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with iPSC-based cultures of CNS cell types, primary rodent cultures, and genetic perturbation methods.
  • Deep understanding of molecular mechanisms relevant to neurodegeneration, particularly mitochondrial or lysosomal pathways.
  • Proven track record of success in wet-laboratory experimentation.
  • Working knowledge of large-scale data analysis (e.g., RNA-seq, proteomics).
  • Excellent data organization, presentation, and communication skills.

Education
  • (Not required) – Ph.D. in a relevant field with a strong track record of excellence in cellular and molecular neuroscience.
