Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger activities supporting the month-end/year-end closing process by preparing accurate journal entries and account reconciliations, collecting and reviewing required documents and supporting schedules for completeness, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure all deadlines are met for a timely close.
- Work collaboratively on various cross-functional initiatives including, but not limited to, interactions with line of business management, operations, internal audit, risk management and compliance, accounting policy and research, and independent auditors.
- Help facilitate accounting operations by overseeing and resolving suspense postings to ensure smooth workflow.
- Respond to financial inquiries and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist with the annual audit process by supplying all required documentation, preparing supporting schedules, and responding promptly to auditor inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of external financial disclosures, ensuring compliance with U.S.
- GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Support the drafting and maintenance of internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects, including supporting accounting impacts from new product offerings or other business or regulatory changes, system enhancements, and training initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in accounting operations.

Compensation And Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
