Job Description – What You Will Be Doing
The Talent & Development Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering best-in-class employee experience by supporting development, onboarding, and talent program operations across the organization. This role is the engine behind the work, ensuring programs run smoothly, consistently, and at the pace required in a professional sports environment.
Program Coordination & Operations
Coordinate logistics for training and development programs (scheduling, rooms/virtual setup, materials, rosters, attendance, catering, AV, facilitation support).
Maintain program calendars and manage enrollment workflows for learning sessions and development offerings.
Support onboarding and new-hire learning experiences in partnership with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams.
Draft and distribute clear communications (invites, reminders, follow-ups, toolkits, FAQs, program updates).
Talent Programs & Support
Provide coordination support for talent processes such as goal cycles, performance check-ins, development planning, and calibration preparation (as applicable).
Serve as a helpful first point of contact for employee questions about learning opportunities, enrollment, and development resources.
Culture, Engagement & Continuous Improvement
Support culture and engagement initiatives (recognition programs, leader toolkits, workshops, events).
Identify ways to simplify processes, improve participant experience, and increase adoption of learning tools and programs.
Learning, Talent Acquisition, and Team Support
Support administration of learning/talent systems including course setup, assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and user support.
Maintain clean data and documentation for learning records, compliance-related tracking (as applicable), and program outcomes.
Build routine dashboards and reports for leaders: completion, attendance, satisfaction, and participation trends.
Assist with external vendor logistics (contracts support, scheduling, materials, facilitator arrangements) and help track invoices.
Maintain a library of learning resources, templates, and facilitator guides.
Support Talent Acquisition team as needed (i.e. communication, interview scheduling, career fairs)

Learning and talent systems are accurate, organized, and easy to use.

Qualifications – What You Will Bring To The Team
Education
4-year degree required - preferably in Business Management, Human Resources, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Experience
1 – 3 Years of experience in coordination, HR operations, learning/training support, or program administration (or equivalent).
Proficiency in Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Experience coordinating events/training sessions and supporting multiple stakeholders.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and complete projects within set deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred
Experience supporting talent, learning, onboarding, or performance processes.
Experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS/LMS system; or CultureAmp.
