Responsibilities

On the data science team at ConstructConnect, you'll leverage data analysis, economic and business knowledge to advise stakeholders on business direction, while defining and developing analytical, statistical, and machine learning algorithms for advanced analysis and prediction. You will work primarily in Python to rapidly design, prototype, simulate, and experiment, building massively scalable predictive models and solutions. You will also collaborate across the organization to develop curated training datasets for machine learning, along with other duties as assigned.

Commitments

You’ll perform this role primarily in a seated position with extensive computer and phone use, requiring good close visual acuity and a dedicated, ergonomically appropriate remote workspace. Team members living near ConstructConnect offices in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, GA are expected to work in a hybrid arrangement with regular in-office presence, and all employees must reside and work within the United States. ConstructConnect uses E-Verify for all new hires to confirm work eligibility in the U.S., and provides related privacy and program information as part of the hiring process.

Requirements
  • Creative problem-solver who is passionate about digging into complex problems and devising new approaches to reach results.
  • Strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex quantitative analysis into action-oriented recommendations.
  • Understanding of applied mathematics, statistics, and economics
  • Experience with a range of data science techniques including computer vision, NLP, and network analysis
  • Familiarity with Tensorflow or Pytorch
Education
  • (Not required) – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline
