Responsibilities
- Assist with daily management of construction and EPC projects including safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation.
- Adhere to established safety programs, training requirements, and policies while collaborating with project teams to manage safety and health performance of employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with Project Management to support client relationships and assist with proposal and project-related communications.
- Assist with internal and external project risk reviews and support coordination with legal and contract stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate development and implementation of project plans, including: Project Execution Plans Quality Assurance Plans Safety & Health Plans Subcontracting Plans Project Staffing Plans Organization Charts Procurement Plans
- Support negotiation, execution, and administration of prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Assist with site mobilization and demobilization planning and execution.
- Support permitting efforts by securing applicable project permits.
- Assist with bidder registration, prequalification, and subcontractor selection processes.
- Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs), assist with scope development, bid evaluations, and contract award documentation.
- Support implementation and tracking of project specifications, drawing releases, and design changes.
- Assist with downstream contract administration including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change management, and claims mitigation.
- Support project controls activities including cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structures, project setup, closeout, and field progress tracking.
- Prepare and present project status reports covering risks, schedule, cost, and cash flow for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support invoicing processes for prime contracts, subcontracts, suppliers, and client contractors.
- Establish and maintain project documentation and filing systems.
- Verify insurance, licenses, taxes, bonds, and other contractual requirements for contractors and suppliers.
- Support and participate in project safety, quality, progress, and financial audits.
- Assist with materials management including receiving, inventory control, storage, and logistics.
- Collaborate with superintendents and site managers to ensure subcontractor compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Support project turnover, closeout documentation, warranty tracking, and record retention processes.
- Assist with labor coordination and project labor agreements as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction or EPC project experience .
- Experience supporting construction projects or program management efforts in industries such as aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, transportation, or water is preferred.
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Access preferred).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Assistant Construction Manager Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Location: Maitland, FL Position Summary The Assistant Construction Manager will support the Construction Project Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, EPC Project Manager, and/or Program Manager with day-to-day execution of construction and EPC projects. This role assists with project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractor coordination, procurement, documentation, and field-based activities throughout the project lifecycle.
