Requirements
  • Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system
  • Ability to train to IPC-A-610.
  • Ability to use lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, signal generators and signal analyzers to determine if test stations or test product is causing failures.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and debug non-functional product, supporting the manufacturing teams.
  • Exposure and understanding of common programming languages and platforms. (C++, C#, Java, Perl, AutoIt, Python, Labview, and/or Visual Basic).
  • Understanding of computer architecture, Windows OS and networking.
  • Ability to install additional components and update drivers when necessary.
  • Knowledge and understanding of test equipment communication protocols such as GPIB, RS-232, USB, I2C, SPI, etc.
  • Component, board and system level debug and analysis skills will be utilized.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based upon deadlines.
  • Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, and adjusts plans to meet changing needs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Circuit analysis of analog, digital and RF circuits to aid test technicians for debug.
  • Methodical troubleshooting skills for quickly determining test station failures.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing test tools such as, Flying Probe, ICT, Boundary Scan, and functional test methodologies at both the board and system level.
  • General knowledge of SMT and Box-Build manufacturing details and methodologies.
  • Exposure to PCB layout principles and tools.
  • Comfortable with CAD or PCB viewer tools.
  • Understanding of common electronic manufacturing documentation a must.
  • Effective use of common electronic manufacturing equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, PLD programmers, etc.
  • Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S.
  • Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure and understanding of common programming languages and platforms. (C++, C#, Java, Perl, AutoIt, Python, Labview, and/or Visual Basic).
  • Familiarity with Linux a plus.
  • Comfortable with CAD or PCB viewer tools.
Education
  • (Not required) – Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent,
  • (Not required) – Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S.
