General Laborer- Civil Construction/Land Development

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our civil construction team. This is a physically demanding position that offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects and grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with site clearing, grading, and excavation activities to prepare land for development.
Support the installation of underground utilities such as water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
Operate basic hand and power tools, including shovels, rakes, jackhammers, and saws, while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
Load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from trucks and trailers.
Perform manual labor tasks such as trenching, backfilling, and compacting soil or gravel.
Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications And Skills

Previous experience in civil construction is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach different job sites.
Willingness to learn and take direction from site supervisors and heavy equipment operators.
