- This position teaches an integral part of the high school’s robust core science curriculum, including chemistry, physics, biology and earth sciences and is taught experientially through concentrated and focused morning lessons within each discipline.
- That focus and depth supports the students in making connections within the branches of science, as well as with humanities and history.
- The Waldorf science curriculum teaches blocks of each science annually, engaging students with a dynamic and holistic view.

Candidates who are dedicated to Waldorf education, working out of Anthroposophy, and possess a love of teaching are encouraged to apply.
We serve over 300 students from early childhood through grade twelve on a beautiful seven-acre campus in downtown Milwaukie, just 20 minutes from downtown Portland.

- We require a teacher candidate to hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have at least three years high school teaching experience.
- A successful teacher has a desire to work with adolescents, is adept at teaching to a wide range of student abilities, and has strong classroom management skills.
