- Medical Education
- Serve as a facilitator in the pre-clerkship physicians, patients, and population course.
- Serve as a small group facilitator for pre-clerkship courses during Phase 1 of our curriculum.
- Contribute to the Integrated Clinical Cases within the Basic Science phase of the pre-clerkship curriculum and contribute to other courses, as needed, for reproductive-related health topics.
- In collaboration with the Ob/Gyn clerkship director, design and deliver educational Ob/Gyn clinical content for the academic half day of the longitudinal integrated clerkship.
- Serve as the lead for career advising for medical students pursuing an Ob/gyn residency.

- Evaluate and treat patients with ambulatory obstetrical conditions such as normal intrauterine pregnancy and gestational diabetes at the UH Family Care Center.
- Provide contraceptive counseling and insertion of long-acting reversible contraceptive devices.
- Manage ambulatory gynecological conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding and abnormal pap smears.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives at the UH Family Care Center.

Applicants must have an MD from an accredited institution, dependent on the position, from an accredited institution.
Official transcripts are required for faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidate(s).
Physician applicants must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License and board certification in their specialty.
While exceptions may be considered, approval must be obtained from the Vice Dean of Education and/or the Dean of the College of Medicine and the Office of the Provost.
All positions within the University of Houston System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
Physician applicants are required to provide documentation of current licensure and board certification as part of their application materials.
