Requirements
  • Active participant in at lCentral one outside industry organization, preferably a national organization with membership comprised of other senior leaders.
  • 50%+ travel required.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, client management, or seller-doer roles within GEI or the broader AEC industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Central Region’s markets, clients, competitive dynamics, and strategic opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and influence cross-functional teams, particularly among seller-doers and technical leaders.
  • Experience developing and executing business development strategies, pursuit plans, or growth initiatives.
  • Ability to evaluate client and project opportunities, including participation in Go/No-Go decision making.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Demonstrated organizational discipline, including the ability to track progress, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
  • Experience partnering with marketing or proposal teams to support strategic pursuits.
  • A track record of contributing to regional or company-level initiatives that advance growth, operational excellence, or client engagement.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed to support client development and internal coordination.
