About The Opportunity
At Ellucian, an internship is more than just checking a box — it’s about learning by doing. Our award-winning internship program gives interns the opportunity to build real skills through hands-on experience, working alongside their teams on meaningful projects that support colleges and universities and ultimately impact students just like you.
Throughout the program, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects, gain exposure to how teams collaborate, and explore your interests as you begin shaping what’s next in your career. You’ll be supported by your manager, dedicated project guides, and a structured mentorship program, as well as a broader intern community designed to help you learn and grow.
Additionally, you will participate in executive Q&A sessions and “day-in-the-life” conversations with
intern alumni & leaders across our organization, offering insights into career paths at Ellucian — many of
which began through this very program.

Job Overview

Join Ellucian’s Video and Content team as an intern, where you’ll harness cutting-edge platforms like Synthesia, Runway, and MidJourney to craft short-form videos, animations, and visuals that bring our brand and customer stories to life. From campaign assets to social media and internal communications, you’ll play a key role in shaping how higher education experiences our message, through the power of AI-driven creativity.
Interns will collaborate as part of a small, innovative team focused on bringing authentic customer and student stories to life through engaging video content.
Where you will make an impact

Purpose & Impact: Help build and support a growing video content team that showcases real customer and student experiences, highlighting how Ellucian products positively impact individuals and institutions.
AI-Powered Creativity: Learn and experiment with emerging AI tools such as Runway, Midjourney, Synthesia, and others to support video ideation, creation, and editing, and management.
Customer & Student Storytelling: Capture, produce, and edit compelling stories from customers and students that demonstrate real-world outcomes and meaningful impact.
Sales Enablement Support: Partner with the sales team to create targeted video content that explains why specific products resonate with particular customer audiences.
Content & Footage Collection: Capture video footage from events and personal student experiences that emotionally connect with prospective students and broader audiences.

A strong interest in storytelling, video creation, and creative media
Curiosity and enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging technologies, including AI-powered creative tools
Basic experience with video production, editing, or digital content creation (academic, personal, or extracurricular projects welcome)
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on a small, fast-moving team
Creativity, initiative, and a willingness to learn through hands-on projects and experimentation
Attention to detail and an eye for capturing authentic, engaging moments
Comfort balancing multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, film/media studies, journalism, digital media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Duration

March – May 15: The first portion of the internship is part-time and will require you to be onsite at least once per week.
May 18 – August 7: The second portion of the internship transitions to full-time and will require you to be onsite three days per week.
