Requirements
  • Knowledge in usage of sanitation chemicals, environmental contamination, and cleaning and reassembling equipment procedures.
  • Require an understanding of FDA regulations, GMP’s, HACCP, SOP’s and SSOP’ s
  • Reading chemical labels or Safety Data Sheets (SDS) - how to properly handle chemicals they will be using for plant sanitation.
  • They could be expected to lift loads of 50 pounds or more in a single motion.
  • Document Use: Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, able to read documents and diagrams.
  • Job Task Planning and Organizing: Be prepared for any unexpected changes that may occur during their shift and need to be reported to the immediate supervisor and/or QA/Production manager.
  • Decision Making: Ability to best perform a task, manage their time, use appropriate equipment, and efficiently deal with a problem should one arise.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate dilution rates to obtain specific final PPM concentrations

  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
