Requirements
  • Must be at least a college junior in good standing, a graduate student, or a recent graduate, preferably majoring in international affairs or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrable interest in transatlantic relations, the Atlantic community, and the core mission of the Atlantic Council.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the EU and member state affairs highly desired.
  • Experience with social media campaigns, website maintenance, and email marketing, are highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written – live and virtual), including the ability to identify and work through challenges, underscored by strong judgment and emotional intelligence.
  • Aptitude and strong skills in research, and writing, and logistics for events.
  • Strong analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency in a European language preferred.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Demonstrated interest in Europe, the European Union, transatlantic relations, and NATO through classwork and/or experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the EU and member state affairs highly desired.
  • Experience with social media campaigns, website maintenance, and email marketing, are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in a European language preferred.
