- Port Operations & Profitability
- Analyze and summarize monthly financial and operational performance of ports
- Identify profitability and productivity improvement opportunities through variance and trend analysis
- Review actual vs. business plan and month-over-month analysis with root cause findings
- Develop forecasts and business insights to support management and executive decisions
- Create, maintain, and monitor financial and operational KPIs
- Provide executive summaries and ad-hoc analytical reports
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with KSOX
- Partner with Accounting team to translate financial results into port-level profitability insights and operational improvement actions
- Control documentation and audit evidence preparation
- Process Improvement & Governance
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives related to billing, operations, and financial controls
- Document and maintain SOPs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain recurring managerial and operational reports

- Support special projects including audits, system enhancements, and optimization initiatives
- Act as a liaison with GLOVIS Korea (GHQ) for cross-functional and international projects

Summary
The Manager - Port Profitability & Optimization is responsible for managing end-to-end port profitability analysis and driving continuous improvement initiatives across GLOVIS America’s port operations. This role partners closely with Port Operations, Finance, IT, Vendors, Third-Party Carriers, and GLOVIS Korea (GHQ) to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitability. The position supports port development and optimization projects through financial analysis, operational planning, KPI management, audit coordination, and process improvement implementation.
