- Program Content and Delivery:
- Initiates and sets goals for programming according to the strategic objectives of the organization
- Delivers relevant trauma-informed content using evidence-based practices within the Learning Center and residential program
- Directs and schedules all Learning Center classes, activities, staffing and volunteers
- Maintains high standards of care and supports the agency in identifying and continuing to develop best practices in residential care for trafficking victims
- Record and report program data and statistics monthly to National Residential Director
- Collaborates with national partners for training, sharing practices, and building networks of survivor care
- Mental Health Support
- Completes intakes, assessments, screenings, and bio-psycho-socials to establish baseline of care for all residential clients
- Refers/makes recommendations for psychiatric evaluations and medication management & successfully advocates for client’s needs
- Oversees and stewards the mental health and wellbeing of all residents
- Works in conjunction with the Case Manager to ensure client needs are met and supports case planning
- Provides impromptu counseling as needed
- Advocates for client’s needs
- Applies best practices in substance abuse recovery to all aspects of programming
- Skillfully responds to crises and is able to assist residents with emotion regulation
- Oversees Residential Team
- Responsible for oversight of all residential staff and residential schedule with support from residential team
- Conduct all residential staff meetings and trainings
- Ongoing training in best practices and trauma-responsive care, vicarious trauma, specific job duties
- Works closely with the National Residential Operations Coordinator to ensure facilities are maintained and stewarded well, supplies are managed and stocked, coaching staff schedules maintained, good communication is in place for staff team
- Other Managerial Activities
- Manage residential budget and expenses, provide reports and updates on needs
- Collaborate with Her Song’s team for communication and marketing purposes
- Provide reports on program outcomes
- Uses software effectively to record client progress
- All other duties assigned

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in working with traumatized individuals/abuse, substance abuse, victims of crime, women in crisis, at-risk youth, domestic violence or similar populations
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Skilled in leading effective psycho-educational and recovery groups
- Able to support the overall health and wellbeing of individual clients in direct care
- Knowledge of trauma-informed principles and can execute those in victim service delivery and lead the organization to use best practices in trauma-responsive programming
- Team Building Skills
- Ability to organize and supervise schedules and people
- Ability to develop and maintain strong community partnerships
Education
- (Not required) – Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, Master’s preferred
The Residential Manager works as part of a multidisciplinary team providing support and resources to survivors of human trafficking. Under the direction of the National Residential Director, the Residential Manager (RM) implements best practices and excellent standards of holistic residential care based on Her Song’s organizational values for trauma-responsive programs/culture and a post-traumatic growth-focused, empowerment-driven, and strengths-based approach to survivor care. The RM is responsible for the oversight and successful implementation of residential programming; and manages all aspects of day programming and residential care.
