- Whisker’s MBA Corporate Finance intern will help analyze financial data, manage Whisker’s capital structure, and drive strategic decision making for our next chapter of growth.
- The intern will assist the Director of FP&A with monthly variance analysis, long-term financial forecasting, capital structure actions, and Board deliverables.
- The intern will also complete a Summer-long project designed to aid Whisker’s long-term growth and profitability while developing relationships and tools to succeed.
- This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
- Conducts Regular financial forecasting across Whisker’s products and channels
- Frequent maintenance of Whisker’s FP&A software stack, particularly Non-GAAP and Operating KPI projections
- Creates Presentations for monthly management and Board meetings
- Weekly KPI updates for CFO and COO
- Line-of-Business support for Whisker’s various teams including Engineering, Executive Management, Marketing, IT, and Plant Operations in Wisconsin
- New Product Business Case creation
- New Channel and Business Development analysis

We work onsite 4+ days a week, with our team based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Juneau, Wisconsin.

- Actively enrolled in a two-year full-time MBA program, this position is designed as a summer internship between first and second years
- 3+ years full-time work experience
- Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google G-Suite skills
- An Excel test and PowerPoint presentation will be part of the interview process
- Proficient in three-statement financial modeling, both creating and maintaining workbooks
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Experience handling sensitive information requiring discretion
- Establishing and maintaining working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
- Comfortable with office pets (e.g.: cats, dogs)
- Previous Corporate Finance, Accounting, Consulting, or Financial Services experience
- Experience breaking down large problems into smaller problems (e.g. issue tree-ing)
