Requirements
  • Analyst: 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, business analytics, or investment operations, preferably within financial services (banking, private equity, hedge fund, etc.).
  • Senior Analyst: 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, business analytics, or investment operations, preferably within financial services (banking, private equity, hedge fund, etc.).
  • Experience with calculating performance and financial ratios for private equity, private credit and/or real asset portfolios.
  • Distressed debt or direct lending experience, specifically term loans, revolvers, total return swaps, mezzanine debt and public and private bonds a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills – capable of conceptualizing, developing, and enhancing/modifying complex and sophisticated models.
  • Strong data/systems skills – capable of working with large data sets and skillfully using tools to extract, aggregate, and manipulate data to get accurate results in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Takes full accountability and ownership of work product and leads by example in areas of attitude, attention to detail, urgency, process improvement and quality of work.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects.
  • Effective communicator (verbally and written) that can engage directly with senior members of the team as well as with external parties and build working relationships across various departments at all levels.
  • A proactive problem solver who applies strong critical thinking, analytical precision, and meticulous attention to detail, while consistently bringing creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate change agility with an evolving workload and communicate upwards when competing priorities arise.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) preferred.
  • Distressed debt or direct lending experience, specifically term loans, revolvers, total return swaps, mezzanine debt and public and private bonds a plus.
  • Experience with FIS VPM, Investran, and IVP Polaris or similar portfolio accounting systems, a plus.
Education
  • (Not required) – Accounting, Finance or STEM degree with a strong academic record, achievement of graduate degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CFA).
