Machine Learning Engineer Associate

Responsibilities

On the ML engineering team at ConstructConnect, you'll support data scientists and senior engineers by turning models into production-ready systems, helping to design, build, deploy, monitor, and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will assist with performance evaluation, troubleshooting deployment and scalability issues, and continuously improving model accuracy, efficiency, and cost, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and staying current on AI/ML best practices. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.

Commitments

You’ll primarily perform computer-based work requiring frequent sitting, telephone use, and close visual focus, and must maintain a dedicated, ergonomic remote workspace. Team members near company offices in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta work in a hybrid model with regular in-office presence, while others are fully remote but may travel occasionally for meetings or training; all employees must live and work in the U.S. ConstructConnect uses E-Verify for all hires to confirm U.S. work eligibility, and provides related privacy and program information.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deploying ML models.
  • Experience in using version control systems like Git for tracking changes in ML code and models.
  • Understanding of Generative AI and deep learning architectures for computer vision NLP.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in learning and applying machine learning concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for AI and ML, with a strong background in Python and experience building and deploying machine learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably GCP, is a plus.
Education
  • (Not required) – Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
