Responsibilities

On the data science/machine learning team at Kanz, you'll apply advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models to large datasets, design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines from preprocessing through deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives. You will also stay current with the latest ML/AI research and clearly communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders using visualizations and presentations.

Requirements
  • Academic/Industry experience of applying NLP, AI techniques to solve complex data problems.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms and statistical models, including supervised and unsupervised learning methods.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, and experience working with large unstructured data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control tools such as Git.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Education
  • (Not required) – The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Master of Science or PhD degree in a relevant field, has academic/industry experience applying NLP, artificial intelligence techniques to solve complex data problems.
  • (Not required) – Current Master of Science or PhD student in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science.
