Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science with strong mathematical skills and experience developing machine learning models.
  • Must be willing and able to work out of our Lake Forest, CA office for the duration of the internship.
  • This position does not provide relocation or living stipend.
  • Good physics skills required and experience from Process Automation industry preferred
  • Current PhD student studying Machine Learning required
  • Expert knowledge of Python, C, C++, Matlab, R required
  • Working experience and reference projects with libraries like PyTorch, Scikit, Keras, TensorFlow, NumPy, RLlib, Pandas
  • Experience with tools like Git, Jupyter Notebook, Docker
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis.
Preferred Skills
  • Ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science with strong mathematical skills and experience developing machine learning models.
  • Prior experience with the OpenAI Gym environment is preferred
  • Good physics skills required and experience from Process Automation industry preferred
  • Current PhD student studying Machine Learning required
  • Expert knowledge of Python, C, C++, Matlab, R required
  • Prior work experience/internships with companies involved with Process Automation and/or using AI and Machine Learning: Deep Learning, RL, Computer Vision, NLP, GAN, Diffusion model, LLM strongly preferred
  • Working experience and reference projects with libraries like PyTorch, Scikit, Keras, TensorFlow, NumPy, RLlib, Pandas
  • Experience with tools like Git, Jupyter Notebook, Docker
Education
  • (Not required) – A self-driven PhD student actively pursuing a degree in Machine Learning
  • (Not required) – Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Software engineering
  • (Required) – Current PhD student studying Machine Learning required
