Requirements

Persons interested must be at least 21 years of age.
Disclose the three (3) most recent years of work experience including dates of unemployment 2.
High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).

A valid driver’s license that allows the applicant/employee to legally operate a motor vehicle in Nevada.
If not in possession at the time of application, must obtain a valid driver's license prior to the approval of final selection.
License must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
4.
Copy of 10-year driving history (dated within six (6) months from the date printed) issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), is required at time of application/Qualified Selection Pool (QSP) placement and at the time of interview, prior to final selection.
5.
Birth Certificate, U.S.
Passport, Certificate of Naturalization, or Certificate of U.S.
Citizenship.

POOL CONDITIONS: 1.
Successful completion of physical agility 2.
Successful completion of the written examination 3.
Successful completion of an extensive police background check/investigation 4.
Successful completion of the Psychological Examination 5.
Successful completion of the Comprehensive Medical Examination 6.
Pool placement will expire one (1) year from an issued Conditional offer of employment

This job posting will generate a pool of candidates from which the Human Resources Unit-Talent Acquisition Team and CCSD Police Services will conduct preliminary screening activities for the purpose of acceptance into the School Police Officer Recruit Pool. Applications are reviewed on a regular basis. Candidates who are selected for placement into the pool may remain in the pool for one (1) year. The hiring authority will select the candidate(s) for vacancies as they become available.
