Responsibilities

On the Autonomy, Data Science & Analytics internship programs at Rivian, you'll be considered for future 2025 internship opportunities within these domains, with specific responsibilities and qualifications to be provided if you are selected for a particular role.

Commitments

This is a bucket application for Rivian’s Summer 2026 internship programs, open on an ongoing basis for actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate students graduating between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028, and optimized as a student-focused experience. Eligibility requires direct application (no third-party services), fulfillment of any university-specific internship requirements, and either pursuing a degree for internship roles or applying to full-time positions if not a student. Rivian may store and transfer candidate data internationally in accordance with applicable laws and is an equal opportunity employer that uses graduation dates only to verify eligibility and assess availability for future full-time opportunities, not for discriminatory purposes.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Machine Learning or similar.
  • Must have experience with one or more of the following languages: Python, SQL, C++, MATLAB, Java, Kotlin.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and experience with frameworks such as Databricks MLflow, TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • (Not required) – To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between Fall 2026 through Spring 2028.
