Welcome aboard VSSL. It’s pronounced “vessel”, but we’re more than a ship—we’re a fast, agile digital agency of brand builders, campaign makers, website creators, and more. Our mission is to set the course for our clients, creating bold digital marketing experiences that propel brands to success. Our crew brings vision, strategy, spirit, and loyalty to the challenge of helping clients stand out in today’s aggressive, crowded, and fast-changing digital world. We’re looking for a part-time marketing operations manager, with a strong technical aptitude, who can help us crush our clients’ marketing initiatives. You will manage and configure marketing and sales platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. You will create new processes using automation tools and ensure systems are operating as expected (which may involve troubleshooting system errors). EXPECTATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS An ideal candidate is confident in creating and building landing pages, forms, emails, and workflows, is able to do so accurately and thoughtfully, and be proactive in reviewing functionality and troubleshooting errors when necessary. The marketing operations manager will need to be able to think strategically, holistically, and sometimes creatively, to solve complex problems while considering industry best practices and the many facets of the business and/or campaign. The marketing operations manager will keep their finger on the pulse of our clients’ campaigns by updating marketing calendars, preparing reports, and ensuring everything stays on schedule. We need someone who can use data to tell a story and share actionable insights on performance and next steps.
