- Summary: The Medical Assistant is a key member of the Physician Practice and assists Providers with delivery of care.
- The Medical Assistant is responsible for prepatory tasks to ensure the efficiency of the practice and customer service for the patient.
- Duties include exam prep, patient interviews, vitals, chart recording, chart pulling/filing, room turnover, ordering supplies and performing medical testing as instructed by provider.
- The Medical Assistant may float to other practices, as needed.
- Must be able to bend, stretch and use stools and ladders.
- Must meet all safety requirements associated with a medical office setting.
- Contributes in the establishment of goals, priorities and procedures relative to the office.

- Skill in dealing with interpersonal issues and customer relations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to organize and communicate clearly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
