- Provides on-going construction inspection, quality assurance and performs specialty inspections.
- Reviews contractor’s work inspects delivered materials and verifies certifications.
- Ensures compliance with approved construction documents, specifications and contract requirements.
- Records daily observations and reports noncompliance.
- Coordinates and verifies field testing of materials
- Review and approves pay applications.
- Reviews contractor’s quality control and safety manuals and procedures.

- This position requires heavy lifting, working outside in a variety of conditions on a regular basis, and ability to perform work independently.

- High school diploma is required or GED with a minimum of 8 years of construction inspection experience
- 8+ years of experience in construction inspection construction materials testing and/or observation in the transportation field
- Experience with airport construction projects

- Alternatively, an Associate degree (two- year degree)/Technical Training degree (two years of training) in construction management, engineering, or related field, along with 6 years’ experience in construction inspection.
- State certifications in Materials Testing preferred, along with safety certifications
