- NASHVILLE or MURFREESBORO, TN
- Do you have a firm understanding of traffic engineering principles and enjoy solving today’s mobility challenges?
- Do you have project-related experience with traffic signal design plans, traffic signal timing, corridor studies, traffic impact studies, traffic operation studies, traffic control plans, traffic simulation modeling, and safety studies AND a working knowledge of the latest traffic engineering and simulation programs such as HCS, Synchro, PTV Vistro/Vissim and SIDRA?
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee or the ability to obtain your Tennessee PE within 6 months.
- Experience working on projects for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with progressive traffic/transportation experience.
- Ideal candidate will possess the following
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage AND assist in the production of design deliverables.
- Proficiency with MicroStation, GIS data visualization or equivalent design platforms.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and conceptualize.
- Excellence in team collaboration and relationship building skills.

Minimum Requirements
BSCE from an ABET-accredited university.
Licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee or the ability to obtain your Tennessee PE within 6 months.
